About The Prosperity Brief

A newsletter that questions mainstream economic narratives and exposes the gaps between headlines and reality.

Our Mission

The Prosperity Brief was created for readers who suspect there's more to the economic story than what makes headlines.

We're not here to predict the next crash or boom. We're here to question the narratives that shape economic policy and public understanding. We follow the data, track the incentives, and expose the gaps between what's said and what's actually happening.

We're not left or right. We're not bulls or bears. We're skeptics who believe the truth can be found through careful analysis and honest inquiry.

About the Author

Property Economics Student

I'm currently studying Property Economics at CQUniversity, with a Bachelor's degree already under my belt. My focus is on understanding the data-driven forces that shape Australian prosperity.

The Brief started as my way of making sense of complex economic and property data. Turns out, translating research into plain English insights is something people value—so here we are.

When I'm not analyzing RBA statements or construction data, I'm probably reading academic papers on urban economics or figuring out why Perth's property market does what it does.

Education & Focus

  • Current: Property Economics, CQUniversity
  • Specialization: Australian property markets, monetary policy, migration impacts
  • Research Interest: Data-driven analysis of prosperity trends

Our Approach

Question Everything

We don't accept mainstream economic narratives at face value. We dig deeper, challenge assumptions, and ask the questions others aren't asking.

Follow the Data

Our skepticism isn't cynical—it's grounded in evidence. We show our work, cite our sources, and let readers see the data for themselves.

Follow the Money

We track who benefits from specific narratives, examine conflicts of interest, and expose the gap between rhetoric and reality.
